PVC Pipes are low on CO2 Emissions - Malaysia Conference Told

U.S. President Obama and the EU are set to forge a new deal to cut greenhouse gases at the end of March in Brussels.  Whatever the outcome, technical experts from PVC4Pipes are confident that their pipe systems will more than meet the most stringent present and future requirements in the field of CO2 emissions.  At the recent eighth World Chlor-Alkali & Vinyls Conference in Malaysia, Zoran Davidovski from PVC4Pipes informed participants that these emissions have been closely measured and assessed for all major PVC pipe applications.

Long-Term Behaviour and Curves That Defy Aging…

The long-term behaviour of PVC-pipes is more long-term than originally thought. Testing PVC pipes by assessing the burst pressure curve of each composition material is a rigorous process carried out by an accredited organization. Participants at the recent ‘Pipes VII’ conference organised by the Southern African Plastics Pipe Manufacturers Association (SAPPMA) in Johannesburg were informed that this increased life expectancy will provide enhanced value and benefits for operators of sewer and water networks.
